Ehtical Business Standards
All Kathe Kruse toys are manufactured under stringent quality and safety standards, while articles are conceptualized, designed and produced on site. Because of this unique feature, Kathe Kruse products are still manufactured in Europe in its own production facilities which are located in Donauworth, Latvia and Belarus.
Most of the factories of their suppliers, for example of fabrics, are also located in Europe, as well as their paper and packaging suppliers. Some items are purchased from overseas, all of which are tested by independent laboratories according to EN71, ASTM or Okotex standards, depending on which is appropriate.
Fair trade is emphasized with a focus on fair wages, full compensation for overtime, safe working environments and an absolute prohibition of use of child or forced labor.
